Constructed in 1888, the Little Red School House served as a cornerstone of education in the Prickly Pear Valley until its closure in the early 1920s. After years of neglect, it was lovingly restored in the late 1970s by descendants of the original students. Today, it stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of our community, offering a glimpse into the past and a venue for future memories.

Our mission is to offer schoolchildren a glimpse into the past through an immersive educational experience in a restored 1888 one-room schoolhouse.
